Exclamation glasspacks or straights?

i got bocephus and hes an 03 with the 5.4 and true dual rear cats removed with dual origonal 40 flowmasters with 5x24 tips 45ed out the back. im lookin at either glasspacks or straights, who has em and want to know how either is, im also considering and h or x pipe, input is appreciated

if you have straight pipes with no rear cats, I don't think it'd sound good.. I may be wrong but when I saw a video of it, it sounded terrible and the guys in the video said it as wll.. definitely throw an X pipe in there and a set of good glasspacks, like maggies

I would not do straights at all, they sound terrible, the only straights that sound good on a 5.4 is cat back with all 4 in place. If your state doesn't have emissions I would drop the front cats and run it like that a while and see how you like it. I have a single Flowmaster 40 with no cats and it sounds good. Loud but not obnoxious. Here's a sound link....

I love the sound of straight and I am young and no emissions here in bama. But the flows are gonna be gone no matter what

Got ya then get some glass packs then. My friend has no cats and straight on his truck and it sounds bad and not in a good way.

I have all cats and duals with an H and I think its way too quiet. I can only hear it when I floor it at a light.

Did the h pipe help with your low end torque?
