I know it's all relative to each individual but I'm undecided what would look best on my 98.

I'm currently in the process of redoing all the interior (I removed the dash and found at least 10 peanuts, the original window sticker, and a spare key)

But in the next few weeks I will be starting on the exterior,

I've already purchased new mirrors (the ones on it don't match.. or fit)

I'll be blacking out the badges, front bumper, rear bumper and grille and getting a new grille insert. I'll also be blacking out the rims, replacing the missing window cowl and painting the hood. I plan to get a tailgate net until I can find a real replacement. I may remove the front hood cowl but I haven't decided. I've already taken off the grille guard today.

I was pretty set on a set of clear headlights and clear turn signals lights but now I'm undecided on if I should go clear, a black housing or tinting regular headlights. I'm not a fan of the stock headlights and my current ones are so yellowed out anyways

I'm pretty set on tinting the tailights but unsure if I should match up the headlights.

Also, if it were your truck would you keep the one step/ baby steps it has on it now or invest in a black nerf bar that runs the cab length?

Any opinions appreciated

I would do wheel to wheel step bars. Also I think black housing headlights would look good.

I personally like the Lightning headlights. I've got a set for mine.... just need to install them.

It's funny I always told myself if I ever got my hands on this generation of f150 it would all clear lights, now here I am with the truck and can't decide

I like those lights

I'm not a fan of black rims

I'd have no step but I'm a giant

I think your truck looks great as is

Thanks! Needs some work but little at a time. The most time consuming part has been getting all the silly accessories off of it that the previous owner added (more camo vinyl and plastics than you can even imagine)

I've been testing out getting in the truck with no steps, people keep telling me to keep them for practicality reasons but I really dig a clean look with no steps

A honeycomb grill painted black would look good. Through some Hella driving lights behind it as well.

If you want the stock headlights I found them for my '02 on Amazon. Look exactly like yours, 4 pieces (including the signals) for less than $50 and included new 9007 bulbs as well.

Check out xtralights.com if you want flashy, out of the ordinary or LED lighting. They're not cheap but they have a great selection and ship fast. My Spyder Lights LED taillight assemblies were about $250 and had them within a week of ordering.

For taillights, how about the 08 and newer SD. I'm not a fan of the Euro styled ones.
