A good tire i recomend would be the General Grabber A/T2, plus they have a 60,000 mile tread warrenty. Check em out at tirerack.com

so apparently my truck has no lift...just looks like it cuz it has tiny tires. could i fit 33s still? also, how much would it cost (general idea) to have some cutting done or have the torsion bars cranked (if they cant fit)?

Cranking the torsions you can do on your own for free in your driveway in about 10 minutes

Whatever size you get, I suggest you get something that says made in USA (or Canada) or has that code.
Just my preference, I won't ride on Chinese, Korean, or other cheap tires.
Heck, I can't even pronounce the names of some of those cheap tires.
My life is worth more to me than a few dollars.

Both places are rip offs.

Take a look here.

Or believe it or not there's a place on pricegrabber.com that sells tires cheaper than tirerack and discount tire.

Please xplain to me how they are ripoffs. 800 OTD for 285 terra graps with free shipping is a pretty dmn good price.

I second that I bought my grabber at2 (HIGHLY recommend them) off them got 265/70/16 for 600 shipped with a 1 year road hazard warranty. They were shipped quick and I haven't a bit of trouble out of em. My next set of tires will come from tirerack.

I think the general grabber at2 is a great tire for the money. They do tend to pack mud so traction is limited in heavy mud but you'll have that with most all terrain tires from what I've read. But they do great in the snow and seem to wear good. They do fine in some mud but wouldn't be suitable for the serious off roader I don't think. They are just a good all around tire
