Thinking bout dropping in some 4.10 gears can anybody help on what diffs I have

8.8 front. 9.75 rear. What size tires? Im assuming its a 4x4..

The 2000 F150 with 5.4, has the 9.75 rear diff. The 4.6 and 4.2 use the 8.8 rear differentials. All use the 8.8 Ford front diffs. In the 2001 up years they all went to the 9.75's in the rear of all the F150's.

Not true. My buddy has a 2002 4.6 2wd with the 8.8 Diff

You will probably be looking at around $700-$800 depending on the shop you go to.

Paid $1500 for complete axle rebuild, yukon 4.11, and detroit locker

Everything internal on the axle is brand new

That's a lot of cash but as much towing as I do it would prob be worth it
