are you 4x4 or 2x4? say you have a 2x4 so that is $250 for the gears, $250 for the labor and say another $250 for the install kit so there is $750. Take the others advice and don't go 3.73 you will notice little if any difference.
Gearing isn't as spendy as one might think.... Again it all depends on if your doing it yourself or paying someone to do it. I just ordered 4.88's today with the master install kit for $300 shipped to my door... Granted I need to buy another $300 set for the front but I'll be tackling the gears by myself.

if i was too do a 4.10 gear what would my gas mileage be at? i have the 4.6 with a five speed, i dont want to have my rpms through the roof because i drive to school and back on the interstate every day and i do well over 60 haha. i doubt id go with 4.88s or even 4.56s cause im not wheeling the thing ya know. so im looking at like $600 for the gears and what not? i will due all the labor myself
