Question Gas mileage?

I have a 2002 screw, 5.4, 4x4. and I have owned it for almost a year. I gas up and I am getting about 300km (190 miles for you guys south of me)per tank, city driving. It is winter here so the truck might idle more than summer, and I use the 4x4 very little. Seems like like mileage might be slipping, my question I have is how many Km or miles do you guys out there get with a full tank?

Winter blend fuel is the main cause.

Depending on mileage on the vehicle it may be time for a tune up.

So I am not far off. Maybe change the air filter and check/clean the MAF sensor, and might be in that range.

Changing plugs and wires might be something to look into if you haven't done it recently.

Truck has 200,000 km (125,000 mile)on it. Plugs were done (motorcraft), found one bad cop (should have replaced all maybe), tranny fluid changed, diffs oil changed (synthetic). I have not cleaned the TB, or changed the fuel filter. I do this when I clean the MAF and change air filter this weekend.

always check your air filter and plugs to make sure everything is going in clean....maybe try some fuel additive ie: injector cleaner or something of the sort
