Funny Voltage issue
Funny one here, recently my truck randomly wouldn't start, so at first i assumed the battery, i used some jumper leads the car got started, everything worked fine, drove the car around to charge the battery and all was good. Until a couple of days later i went to use the car again and it was stone cold dead. I ran a voltage meter and it showed 9.4V. So i bought a new battery, everything went well, and a few days later i go to use the car again and stone cold dead again. with the new battery! So this time i recharged the battery as it was new, started the car up and was getting 15.2V while the car was running, which led me to think the alternator was playing up, so i took the alternator out, took it to an auto shop to run a diagnosis on it, turns out the alternator is fine!
Any ideas what else i could be looking at that would cause this issue?
Thanks!!

It only take a few days for a small drain to kill a battery completely.....interior light, etc
Use a clamp on DC multimeter that reads DC amps while the vehicle is off to see what kind of battery drain you have

I tried, while not running it comes as 12.4 while running it sits at 15.2 after a full charge, then the next day it can be about 9.4 and continues to drop.I have a gut feeling my Viper alarm might be causing this.
Its beeping even when the car is on??
