Dealership diagnosed my 03 Lightning as needing a fuel pump resistor (part number F81Z14A601AC). The problem is that Ford no longer carries it and can not locate one so I'm left to find one myself. After countless calls and google searches I am SOL. I have ordered it from a couple sites just to have my order cancelled because it is out of stock. Can anyone help me? It's killing me not having my baby on the road

The initial issue was running on boost but not idling or light throttle. Turns out it's not a rare issue which kills me because the part should be available.

No worries, I would get it if it is that hard to find. Says they only got 2 left. You could ask them to expedite the shipping, just a thought.

 

Did you try the lightning forums. You should have better luck there. Thay mustbe doing something.

Just buy a lifetime CARTER fuel pump. That's what I did....still going
