Well the cats are off....and the truck is a little too loud for my taste...and it still feels weak. I know the 4.6 isn't the biggest engine but the truck is still severely lacking power.

The cats are scrapped but the truck is still lacking power....its slightly better but not where it should be

No that's what sucks...its not throwing any codes. I even scanned it today just in case and it didn't have anything

no kiddin. the cats had to come out no doubt, there were pieces of my old engine lodged in them, and it did return a little of the power, but like i said its still way off from where it was 2 weeks ago. i unplugged the battery tonight, and im gonna let the computer reset itself and see if that helps any...i know its a long shot, but who knows.

I just went back thru the thread, and reread where you only have 34# of fuel pressure while idling? Too low. I'm back to the fuel pump where I originally started. The clogged cats could of been for quite a while, but I'm back in line with a fuel pump not putting out enough to give you the full power necessary.

I agree it could be that your pump isn't up to snuff
