Well problem solved....I was wrong. Took it to a shop today and the cats are clogged. :/

How much were your cats? I can tell mine are the next thing to go and it would be helpful to know what I need to save up to.

The guy at the muffler shop quoted me 1100 dollars. I think it was 369 per side plus labor.

That's horable I would go with high flows if I were u they are cheaper

Yeah there's no way I can afford that. There's a local shop that will cut the cats out for 150 which is what I'm gonna do until I can afford some

Do you require Emission Testing in your State? If not, you can punch out the honeycomb inserts in the catalytic convertor shell. This will open them up and give you the relief your engine will need until you can afford to replace them. What will it hurt, since the cats are shot anyways? Just a thought.

No Florida doesn't do state inspections so ill be able to get away with this for a little while while I save some money....and I was lookin at hollowing them out but this is quicker and I need the truck
