Take intake off motor is how I do it. Leave a Lot of chain where u can swing the motor hanging from the engine hoist. It helps to be able to swing the motor u can kinda guide it in just let it down slowly. I've done it a time er 2 lol

What you swapping out? I wish I could do this to my 4.2 but I think it'd be damn pricy.

Will a 2002 4.6 with highrise intake manifold work drop in, plug and play in a 97-98 that had a 4.6?

I have a 2009 4.6 3V motor with the 6 speed auto I'm thinking of installing in a 2001 F150 originally equipped with a 4.2 V6. Anybody have any experience with this swap?

I just bought a motor and supply's . Tranny fluid oil , oil filter, gaskets, spark plugs, power steering fluid, just the basics. I got my motor pretty cheap but I bought a whole truck to get it
