Frustrated w/ cruise
I have a 2001 F150 XLT 4x4 w/ 5.4 gas reg cab, after the truck reaches normal oper temp the cruise will not work. It works from first start until it reaches normal temp. Any ideas as what is wrong

Bumping for general troubleshooting for the cruise control system. Mine works intermittently on my '99 XLT 4.6L. If it turns on it will work the entire time the truck is running but once I turn it off and restart it may or may not start working. I haven't been able to find a pattern yet...it just seems random.
