Default 1997 GEM and fusebox

Hi Folks
I have a '97 f150 4x4, auto with floor shifter for 4x4, 4.6litre.
Anyhow, the leaky windshield took out the GEM and fusebox, I got one out of a 2000 4x2, but noticed the fuses have been re-arranged, so I don't want to plug it in and try it for fear of letting smoke out of my wiring harness .
Anyone know if the wiring is the same, and I can just plug it in, or is it a nogo?
If so, what works?
TIA

Do not use it! The wiring changed at mid-year 98s.

Thank you very much.
I'll go search for the proper one.

Please remember that in the 1997 Model year, there was a change in
fuse box layout. Vehicles made prior to 6/24/96 have a different fuse box
layout than those manufactured after 6/24/96.
