Ok, so today i was parking in a parking spot in a parking lot and made a sharp turn, well I felt that all too familiar jerking feeling like the 4x4 is locked in, but not as severe as if it actually was.

I know the transfer case is working because 4x4 works fine, and when I turn the 4x4 off I can spin the rear tires just like normal.

Is it possible for the front hubs to stay engaged? Also is there an easy way to tell for sure that they are?

Oh, BTW: I have the manual 4x4 shifter on the floor, and I haven't noticed any weird noises.

Anybody have any ideas? I don't want to drive it to much if there is a problem.
