Default Front end noises

My truck has started to make squeaking and creaking noises under the front end. Anyone know of a way to treat this?

I thought that too. I'm really not looking forward to replacing them.

It's not a hard job and a lot cheaper if you DIY. did mine in a couple hours.

You can press in the bottoms? You have to replace the upper control arm for the upper ones right?

Correct.

I recommend finding someone that knows how to check them before you spend the time and money replacing them. Don't just throw parts at it...

There are multiple things that could make a squeaking noise.

check your upper and lower control arm bushings to, much cheaper and easier to fix than ball joints and can make similar noises when goin bad

Easiest way to check is jack up the front end and lower the truck down on jack stands placed under the control arms then pry under the wheels with a bar pushing the wheel up and have someone look while prying in the wheel if the ball joints are loose u will see them move and hear them make noise
