front bumper
i was just in an accident with my 4x4 fx4 2001 i need a new bumper which should i get a stock one or some sort of after market prerunner i know its not a 2wd so would a prerunner bumper work? any help would be greatly appreciated im open to ideas and i need 2 new head lights please refer me to a good site or ebay

Just becuase it is 2wd does not mean a prerunner bumper won't work, most hard core prerunners are 2wd. Check out Dixon Brothers Racing, they have prerunner bumpers for 2wd F150s, or if you want stock www.lmctruck.com has regular and premium bumpers.

I want so badly to prerunner my truck, but I have a wife and 2 boys to think about and when I do something I tend to go all the way. My wish list adds up to almost 16,000 worth of suspension, engine and transmission mods. I prefer the look of prerunner bumper, but don't like the way they look without a skid plate.

It's more so the look... Doesn't mean it has to be on a 2wd or 4wd... I like the prerunner bumpers and skidplates for the clearance up front. I don't like big bulky bumpers that hit **** when I'm offroading. I plan on building a prerunner bumper for my truck soon. More function than anything. Toss a few light tabs on it and be good.
