Have a 97 and with many the frame has rusted from the cab back. I have taken the rivets out at the rear front leaf hangers and removed the back frame section. My question is can you use that section from an extended cab short bed? Seems as if the frame is the same from the back of the cab to the bumper. Anyone have experience with this type of donor swap?
