I ended up getting everything wired up and working excellent.
I used a relay with power from ignition and low beam to switch power with an in dash switch.
The only thing is that they turn off when my brights are on so I might switch them over to park lights like suggested.

Thanks for all your help =)

I'd recommend wiring a set of Hella 500 or KC Daylighter's into the high beams. Throw out way more light than OE lights of any kind. I run Hella 500's that way on my F150 (maybe switching to a spare set of KC Rally series I have) and the KC Daylighter's on a Cherokee. The Hellas are bright, KC's are brighter. That's why I'm debating going to the much more powerful KC Rally series I pulled off the roof rack of the Jeep (pulled the floods but left the spots up).

Have you checked to see if your truck came wired for fogs? If you have them, they'll be below the headlights.

That is a good idea, I think I might mount some KC's behind my grille and hook them up to high beams. There is no laws against lights around here.

I was wired for fogs from the firewall forward but there was no wiring inside the cab (its an XL).
