Flexing with 285's on stock suspension
Hey guys! So just got some new tires and rims for my truck like a week ago!!
The rims are aluminum 16"x10" wide, i got used for $200 off of a local classified site kijiji. then painted them black with dupicolor bedliner spray. They look amazing in my opinion!
Tires are Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Before I got these new ones I ran a set of duratracs and got 90 000 km out of them.
One of the best tires out there in my opinion so I ended up getting another set considering that in ontario, Canada we have snow for half the year and the duratracs were amazing the past 3 winters
Anyways, so I'm just posting pictures to show people how the 285s look with a stock suspension truck, I had to cut some of the plastic on the front bumper but not alot. I originally wanted to get 305's for an even wider look but I looked EVERYWHERE for about a week and I could only scrape up 2 tires so I just went with the 285 75 16. With the 10 inch wide rims they still have the look of 305's which I like alot !
Let me know what you guys think !

Now here are the good pictures lol
I could have possibly gone higher in my flex but this was my first time and didn't want to damage anything. This truck is like my baby

I think you might be Misinformed what flexing is.... But I like your truck. I would work on the rust next if it was me. I really like white 10th gens

Yeah its impossible to keep your vehicle rust free here in canada, come spring 2016 I'm getting a new used box. There is a place near me that ships them up from Florida, Georgia, Texas etc... rust free box for around $1100 they told me.
Also what is flexing then? I don't think that I am misinformed

Theyve been great so far. They do great on the street and even better off road. I'd have to check exact numbers but I've gotten over 20k miles with regular rotations and they have worn really well. Ive been in some pretty hairy situations off road and have never gotten stuck, I'll credit that to the tires lol.

Yeah like I said above my old duratracs I got just over 90 000 km (about 56k miles) which is really good the wear was really even too with regular rotations. And yeah I go offroad about once per month and only time I got stuck was when I bottomed out my truck in a mud hole. Winter driving is amazing as well they barely slip while accelerating and braking is good on ice.
I'm going to keep getting these tires until the day they stop making them lol
