Vehicle was used by local county fire and rescue I decided to trace all the wires coming out of the cab and eliminate those I didn't need. 1 set with wiring going to strobe light added to parking light and a set going to what looks like a siren in the grill. Bought new headlights (cheap) coming tomorrow decided to remove current lights. 10 minute job turned into a 2+ hour fun fill cursing session. One tab has beat to hell and would not move ended up cutting and drilling the thing out.
Ordered a new radio and backup camera $325 from Crutchfield.
New serpentine belt coming. Windshield wiper blades.
Dash trim is flaking so ordered some spray paint to clean up the look. Wed neighbor is dropping me off at the county tax office so I can register the truck.
Upcoming before the end of January new shocks and maybe a cat back exhaust, maybe.

Neighbor came down this afternoon and he got the back seat back out. I tried yesterday could not get it to budge. Woke up in the middle of the night my arthritic hands ached. 1 of the down sides of getting old (76 and counting).
Pulled more wiring and found some of the wires under the seat go to strobe lights that were cut into the tail light. Also frond a 2 terminal hookup under the hood with 2 red wires one fused going into the cab.
I will post pics forgot to get any prior to starting but have some as I am going along.

Previous government vehicles are usually a lot of fun with all the extra wires and holes, but once you deal with that, you generally have a decent platform, as they're typically well cared-for. The back seat-back can be a bugger, with push-in,pull-up, being easier said than done in some cases. It's especially hard when you forget about the mounting bolts at the bottom.
