Default Final Farewell, Trading off the F150

Well after thousands of dollars invested and just about getting it the way I want, I have decided to trade off my baby! Taking delivery on the new 2014 fusion Titanium some time next week. I will miss this truck for sure, its been great. But spending 600 a month just on gas has got to stop. I actually got almost 12k ON TRADE for my truck!! Heres the new car that is on order!

Good luck! I know my girlfriend and I got her a new ruby red titanium and it has everything she wanted. She only drives 2 miles to work each way so her gas mileage hasn't been tested yet but she is liking it a lot. She traded in a 2002 mustang with 80K original miles so that tells you how much she drives. All the gadgets have her mind boggled and still hasn't gotten use to what it can do. I am looking to buy a daily driver so I don't rack up miles too quickly but I like driving a truck too much...too bad you couldn't have kept the truck as a second vehicle.

Yeah they are letting me drive one for until mine shows up and I averaged 31 (almost all highway) which is exactly where I wanted to be. Love the 240 HP 2.0!! It was a really hard choice to go to a car but overall I am pretty happy about it.

Yeah, i hear you:P but i bought a 96 contour for 500 bucks and i get 32 mpg avg. its a stick shift and i put a programmer on it to lean it out on the highway cruisin:P but it works for now, i just could get rid of my truck, i use it too much up here, seeing i'm building a cabin style house for me, and my fiancee, i have to go through the swamp to get to it:P haha but yeah someday I'd love to get a new fusion, before i bought the truck i was seriously thinking about getting one, i went down to ford, test drove it, and I WAS AMAZING!!! I loved everything about it! the style, the ride, the new technology! and it would of only been 230 a month for 5 years, but me being 19 Insurance would of been like 400 month, and in michigan you have to have insurance, not sure if you do every where but when you owe on the car you have to have full insurance:/ so i found my truck on one of the lots, the dealership i work with, and got an amazing deal! 6,000 for an 02 F150 with 131,000 miles on it, 5.4. and i'll have that paid off in a year! so as much as i'd love to buy a new car after that, i have to save to build the house! i'm trying to do this with out going into debt, its going to be hard, but its possible! believe me, I only make 9 an hour, and i already got 3,000 saved for my house, and my loan is down to 5,000 on the truck already! just a side note the dealership i work for, Riverside Chevrolet, is owned by Dagenias Enterprises in Escanaba, Mi, they own all the dealerships except The one for WV and Mazda, and the reason for that is because their business plan for the automotive companies worked really good, and the other business's were going down the drain, and so to help them out, instead of the companies failing, they'd offer them enough money for them to walk away happy, so they helped this small town alot! haha i got sidetracked... but in otherwords someday I'll get that fancy fusion!

Congrats man. I love the Aston design influence in the 13' & up fusion. I will probably get some flack for this but I think it is one of the best looking vehicles ford has ever made

The grey fusion on the left is exactly what mine is going to look like.
