For those following along. We got the best kind of dog. Mutt from the pound. She's very calm and I think she will make a great addition to our family.

A buddies rack & tire, Kayak and bikes.I love them. I don't drive over 65-70 for regular driving so they work out perfect. The motor doesn't wind up the RPM's too much when I have to get up to 75 for short bursts. If you're over 70 frequently, I'd go with 4.10's.
Driving around town they have more pep off the line so taking off from a light doesn't feel so anemic. While driving, after take off, I'd compare it to having the Overdrive off with my stock 3.55's and 35's (34.75")
The 4.56's are a great mix of daily driver, Tow & road trip gears. We still regularly drive it back to Michigan from Virginia and it doesn't fatigue you like purpose built off road rig does. 10 minutes on the Fwy and the wife and monkey are usually passed out.
This is a temporary setup though, I got the gears used for free and a friend of a friend installed them for next to nothing. For as much Camping Overlanding (or as little) as I do, I'd still say this is more of a daily driver's truck. It's got good road manners, it's not too loud and it doesn't get 6mpg, lol
Sorry for the book. It's a complicated question for a manic personality.
