I think they compliment each other. Sooner or later you'll stop breaking stuff...after the trans has been built, add in new u-joints, clutch packs.. Did I leave anything out ? I wouldn't leave one of these out, that's for sure, -

I agree. My 4x4 super cab has the lightning conversion, factory 4r100 transmission and weighs 5816 at the truck pulls, with my 200 pounds in it.

Thanks Rus. Man than looks taller than a 4" lift...Looks great! How did you like it with the blade on there? Haven't tried that one yet lol.

Just a little update to the thread. I did end up getting almost all the parts to do the swap. Been looking around at short blocks and transmissions to prepare for the inevitable.
