I think they compliment each other. Sooner or later you'll stop breaking stuff...after the trans has been built, add in new u-joints, clutch packs.. Did I leave anything out ? I wouldn't leave one of these out, that's for sure, -

I agree. My 4x4 super cab has the lightning conversion, factory 4r100 transmission and weighs 5816 at the truck pulls, with my 200 pounds in it.

Yea, it's nice when you have that trans originally in the truck, specially w/L swap.

Thanks Rus. Man than looks taller than a 4" lift...Looks great! How did you like it with the blade on there? Haven't tried that one yet lol.

Do you have a build thread by chance ?

Are you the guy who picked up that Super Duty TG cheap ?

Just a little update to the thread. I did end up getting almost all the parts to do the swap. Been looking around at short blocks and transmissions to prepare for the inevitable. F150 Lightning Swapped vs Lightning-photo303.jpg
