Everything is 4 gauge sub wire except ground wire is 0 and connectors between batteries are 0 and removed some old wires that I didn't need anymore since my post connectors are new. I only have a 140 all they had at the local stores where u order yours from... need one for my amp lol

2400 watts rms stereo = about 7000 peak
cb, 4 off road lights, 2 back up lights, and lots more small stuff.

The setup works like this.
I have a deep cell XS battery inside the cab for reserve power for the stereo on camping trips. (not connected until a switch is fliped).

The main battery/ alt runs everything while the truck is running. (unless I flip on the deep cell)

The extra interestate is purley for starting in cold weather, and on the ocassionaly hunting/camping trips when I leave my lights on too long. This way I can never have a dead battery no matter if 2 of them die, none are connected in that sense.

Even with the 180 amp alt at a steady 1600 rpm, my lights dim. I really need a 220 or 250, but that is within time.

haha i wouldnt say that, I pretty much learnt by trial and error when I was younger. But a couple degrees in physics kind of helped too.

But your setup looks great, I really like how you took the vacuum line out and kept your tank where it is. Very intuitive.

As for the alt, my friend owns an auto-parts store (small chain) and actually ordered me one. I am not sure where he got if from, i will ask tomorrow and let you know. I used 1ga mining/welding cable for the Big 4 and to all the solenoids. Stuff works great, and can really hold some amperage.

From ur pics u posted u did do some wires I didn't that maybe later on ill look at swaping to a larger wire. I like ur wall most for ur amps if u have a drawing u should post it up my amp is laying on the floor lol to big to fit under set and I went with a 40 sub 40 so I have 1 12 in the middle. But if ur pushing 2400 RMS to those 2 10s must be loud. I figure with my current setup I might be pushing 1500 RMS which is no where near my 12s limit.
