Expedition Console Swap
I got my seats in to do the swap went to mount up the console but the holes that are in the floor dont match up with the mounting brackets on the console. Anyone else had this problem? before I drill new holes in the floor i was looking for some advice. thanks

you need to cut the carpet out and remove the 2 rubber plugs closer to the passenger side and tap those holes.

you need the 2 that mount to the bottom of the white piece from the console and then you need the 2 mounting brackets that mount to the floor of the expedition, these brackets slide into each other then you bolt the white piece down to it.

Damn just realized that lol. Luckily ebay has a set for $20. I read up on these swaps but everyone said they just mounted right up but left out the part about needing those extra brackets. Thanks for the help tho!

no prob man, yea you pretty much need everything from the expedition, everything. id try the salvage yard if you have them handy, shouldnt charge you more then 10 bucks for 2 pieces of basically scrap metal lol
