Default Exhaust tailpipe.

Ever seen one like this. '01 SuperCrew Lariet 5.4 Auto. 117k mi. Untouched, been like this since I got it a year ago. Runs very smooth, lots of power and getting 16 to 17 mpg in town.

A bit confused... Are you implying that your exhaust tip is netting you 16 to 17 mpg?

Looks like a pretty clean burn-(?)- special oil?, special fuel?,- loosing coolant?, any codes?

I would like to get that kind of mileage in my rig....I get 10 in town, though my trips are short trips, 20 on highway
what brand gasoline are you using?

no Cenex here, we have chevron and others though
my tailpipe does look similar to yours as far as being clean

Yes. I'm just amazed how clean inside of pipe is. No black, no nothing. Just little dusting of rust from water.
