if you are wanting to fix the leak you need to do it soon. the leak can be very damaging to the engine. it sounds like the leak is past your catalytic converters and won't affect gas mileage

Well I have a exhaust leak so I took it in and its leaking from the drivers side manifold, around the frt cat and the muffler

So I was quoted $800 out the door for R and R of the manifold, cat and muffler. They said they would put in a single cat (bigger) instead of 2

So My question is, will my over all performance and mpg get a little better with all this fixed?

It runs good but it does seem to act different if you are lightly pressing on the pedal like hardly any response until you give it a good push, almost like its bogging down

Other then that it runs great and once you get past that little push of the pedal it goes and goes good

I dont like car payments and since this truck runs good and only real bad thing is the rust on the wheel wells I want to keep driving it, but if its a waste to get the stuff done that I listed I might hold off
Yes AFA performance.

Not enough to notice AFA economy.

Yea, it's still going to be old thirsty. Should run a little a better and biitch a little less I expect.
