Default Exhaust pipe size

What size is the exhaust pipe where the cats are is it 2.5 or 3. From the rear cats and crossover pipe

Depends on engine. If it's a 4.2 it's 2.25" if it's a 4.6 it can be either 2.25" or 2.5" and if it's a 5.4 it's 2.5"

I'm pretty sure the reason for the 2.5 inch pipe is to help all that 350 LB/Ft or torque stay at around 2500 RPM's for pulling and towing.
