I think you are misunderstanding. The trans mount is not going to fix your exhaust leak. It will prevent them from reoccurring after you've replaced your manifolds.

Exhaust manifold leak at normal operating temp will always send a code. Are you sure it's leaking not vibrating? Try neutralizing the exhaust system first then neutralize the power/drivetrain mount. Search ford NVH

Or Just use this..

Not true. At all. My Expedition has been leaking for over a year. Not one CEL.

Warped Exhaust Manifold? If it is not sending a code it's only leaking when the engine or ect is still cold. A leaking exhaust manifold will create a small vacuum at certain engine speed and rpm. More oxygen will be detected by the o2 censor. The pcm will first try to reduce fuel being injected before sending rich mixture code

LMAO, same here, my 06 F150 has had a leaking passenger side exhaust manifold with 2 broken studs for going on 2 years and it has never thrown a code of any kind. And I'll tell ya right now, it's leaking BAD! My truck sounds like a rolling POS lol.

Yep! It is so embarrassing to drive too. My drivers side ticks because of a busted stud, and the passenger side is leaking at the collector. I feel like I am in a demolition derby, LOL.

Screamingeagle... maybe we oughta just put some of that muffler sealer in post 12 on ours. Seems legit.

The thing about that Expy is, my Buddy gave it to me. He is the one that owns a transmission shop. He had a customer bring a used trans for him to install in this Expy, and they never came back. So... after 3 years of sitting there, he gave it to me if I did all the work to get the title. Anyway, 200 miles into it the used trans took a dump. He felt really bad and put a (newly rebuilt) trans he had on his shelf in there..... and it was at the point that the collector studs got stripped. If it weren't a grundle of favors being given to me on it, I'd have taken it back to my Buddy to fix it. I still might take it to him though, LOL. He has lifts and more tools than I do.

All in all, I have a 98 Expedition with a new trans that I am under 300 dollars in to...
