Default Low pressure port

I have a 1999 F150 V8 4.6L and I need some help recharging my A/C. I know where the low pressure port is but the fitting to the A/C Pro won't stay on the low pressure port. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Not sure if you can see the valve. It's the only valve that the fitting will fit.

The diy cans will only fit on the low side. You are more likely putting it on the high side. They are idiot proof for this reason

It only fits on the valve in the pic but it won't stay on so I can't get a reading.

I had a hard time getting it on my sons truck
turned out I just wasn't pushing it on all the way.

I had this problem as well. I just turned the connector to a different angle and gave it a good push and I finally got it on. It's in kind of a difficult place to reach. Just keep working it at different angles and eventually it will snap on.

Is the truck on and the AC on max? Pull the trigger and it will give you a reading
