Ever heard of a 2002 FX2?
Hello all,
I feel like Ford missed out by not offering a FX2 version for our generation. Oddly enough they have the rear quarter panel decals. I’m a dumbass and bought a 2wd SuperCrew. I then proceeded to get it stuck on every dirt road I pushed too far down and hung up on curbs I could have sworn we’re shorter. So instead of replacing it I thought let’s make it a bit better.
I wanted to make my own the FX2. So lift kit, big tires, pistons, transmission kit, air locker, FX4 valance w/ fog lights, body color bumpers, FX4 mirrors and lastly some badges. This is what they’re going to look like.
Classic Red but with a Blackout!
This is what I selected, silver to match the body
Factory fender badge for continuity

You're saying that in 2002 Ford had an FX4 truck that had a lift kit, oversized tires. Some sort of different pistons, and transmission changes. They also threw in an air locker?
I got jipped in 2016 because my truck came with the same pistons as everybody elses.
Maybe you've been talking to the wrong people that have convinced you that the FX4 had a different drive train?
I suggest you don't add a sticker to your truck -people may want to race you with your high performance FX2 modded truck!
I don't really know what to think of this post with the expectations that a factory truck included.
In 2002, I think the rear end had an optional limited slip. Perhaps you have one but is worn out. One shouldn't need a 4x4 to drive on a dirt road. Obviously there is more to the story, but this is all you gave us to go by.
Not sure how you can high center on a curb.

If you note the badges, they are GEN 11. According to the Ford listing, 04 was the first year of the FX2 configuration. GEN 11 thing at first. Carried on into GEN 12's. This is how it was posted from Ford. Remember FX4 is an 02 up thing. Before 02 they were Off Road models.

Who made these for you Duces? These are actual badges, right? I have an idea for Mustangs that I wouldn't mind producing. A friend of mine had these made below for Fox Body's, but I'm not a big fan.
