Default engine seized

well, i figured id get yalls input before i dropped a lot of cash i dont have on this project. i was driving my truck into town the other day and it started bucking really bad. it threw 3 misfire codes and 2 lean bank codes. replaced 3 coils, because i had just changed the plugs and it still had the 2 lean codes and a cylinder 8 misfire. tried another coil just in case i had bought a bad one and same thing. decided to take it to my mechanic to run a full diagnostic test and i literally pulled into the shop and the truck shut off. left it there for the mechanic to look at and he said that the engine had seized and that they coudnt turn it by hand and that i was probably looking at having to replace it. all of my fluids are fine and full, and were before the truck started to act up. any ideas as to what might have happened. the truck is an 03 with a 4.6 l engine. before it died i checked for vacuum leaks and leaks around the intake plenum.

I know it's a shot in the dark and but it's possible....fuel over heating and vaporizing causing it to cause negative pressure in the combustion chambers....
