I've heard decent things about promar. I'd opt for them over jasper. Somethings not right with your maintenance schedule if you only went 40k on a reman and 140k on the original. Start using motorcraft oil filters btw...

Why do the non-pi 4.6? It's an inferior motor. At least get the 5.4 w/ PI heads...

My original 4.6 blew a head gasket, outta the blue, with no warning/symptoms once so ever. My mechanic told me he was surprised in made it past 90K since it was one of the very first runs on the 4.6. I ordered the truck as soon as I could when they came out. Apparently the first few 4.6's weren't exactly great. I highly doubt my maintenance is at fault here. I will DEF go with Motorcraft from here on tho, as it seems I was the only one who didn't know that was the best for the truck!
