Bill, powerstroke help guy on YouTube, is joked a lot about on the forums, however no one ever has the evidence to back it up. They talk about how is theories are incorrect, methods can be wrong, etc but they aren't the ones who work on 6.0s day in and day out. That's his specialization. I watched his videos before I bought my 7.3. Look at the "buying a powerstroke truck" videos or something along those lines. He has some great tips and pointers

LOL, from what I've been reading on forums and Carcrazys post they all say the same, a newer 7.3 (99+) or a 6.0. To get the cushy ride, it's the 6.0 hands down. But mann, I really the 08+ interiors over the 07's. Those new interiors look much better IMO. Curios if you could do a conversion lol. I agree, like you mentioned earlier the 6.7 interiors, bells/whistles are killer. Damn though, I really wanted newer than 07, like a 13. Reliability is more important.

Yea, I'm still researching, looking for a reason to go newer. Just looks like that would be a mistake at this point.

I've seen interior swaps done. How complicated it is, I'm not sure of. But it's been done and can be done. I don't know what all needs to be modified or changed in order to make everything fit, but I can't imagine it be too much to change seeing the truck cabs are virtually all the same.

Only thing that might make it any more complex is the electronics side to go with the newer interiors and making it work in the older cab, how much a pain it might be to get everything to play nice and work correctly.

Thanks, that helps! Hell, there has to be all kinds of these interiors (08 plus) floating around in salvage yards. I really like the black or darker configurations in those models. They also have 4 more gauges in the cluster which would yea, have to be wired in.

You can even swap front clips and beds over to the older trucks.

lol I hear that. Those 05-07 trucks look damn good they way they are anyways. I would say the brawny-est superduty there is.
