Not bad with the bracket. I ended up paying $150 for both cables, bracket & CC controller from a salvage yard.
Too much filtration can be a bad thing. Unless your running a bypass filtration setup 15k from a oil change is going to kill a engine.

slick ***** lol..I plan to put one of these on the ol' stroker

I already push about 10 on it now. 5 quarts Mobil 1 EP & a quart of Lucas synthetic. It's never thin or real dirty when I change it. I'll give it a test run & sample at 5, 10, 15 and see how it goes with twin filters. I actually have access to oil testing equipment we use at the restaurants to evaluate how dirty/how much acidity the cooking oil gets. I'll test first clean oil for a baseline & then 5k intervals to see how well it works.

Couldn't hurt. I really don't think an extra filter would create enough flow resistance to cause cavitation in the pump. Which makes me contemplate waiting until I get an actual oil gauge installed to monitor pressure just in case.

I like how you guys replies make me actually think something through and take more into consideration than my initial thought grasped. LOL.

I've got a oil filter relocation kit I never put on the truck. Never really wanted to mess with it. I'd be willing to part with it if someone wants. 20 bucks plus shipping would do it.

Lol I have no idea. I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow. When I bought my bbk throttle body I sat and talked to the old guy about 10th gen trucks for so long he must have liked me and he tossed it in for free. Never got around to installing it though. I think he said its better to swap out the current fittings with new brass fittings because they won't expand or contract like the others would. Idk just what he told me.

After speaking with several people, I'll definitely be using a single 340.
The seller I bought the fuel system from is running 425/550 rear wheel on a single with no issues

Same as 4x4dave right?

You or Todd may want to pick up that remote filter kit. Even if it's a single, you know how much of a pain it is dripping oil all over the front diff and having to contort to get at the filter. At least that's why I'm doing mine.
