Lets not turn this into gas vs diesels arguement. We all know the pros and cons of both.

4v hve 4032 Cast pistons. Mahle made them for Ford as they had a special coasting to help prevent scaring on the walls.

Plenty of useable power for his needs.
A similarly equipped 6.0 will be $5000-$7000 more than its gasser counterpart. Then $5000-$7000 for a "real" bulletproof from a reputable shop.

That's all man. Don't have to convince me. Just cheaper, more reliable, and more truck than he'll need
