Make sure you get an oil separator so this doesn't happen again. I used a metco one. Worked great. Then I blocked the driver side or use a breather.

Think you ment to say its an acid not a base

Honestly at a PH level of 2 coke-a-cola would work great. Don't use any wool brushes. Use something like a brush to clean dishes.

Use degreaser and acid. I would pour coke all over that intercooler. Let it set for 30 min in it.

My apoligies. Yep, vinegar is an acid and is an amazing cleaner. My grandma always mixed vinegar, baking soda & lemon juice to clean everything. However, the coil cleaner is an alkaline. Stuff will burn the tar out of ya if it gets on your skin too long. It does remove solidified oils pretty well. You should see before & after on some of the refrigerator condenser coils I do.

Think they are only like 30 bucks or something like that. Def what he needs to keep that intake clean.

So delete the pcv with an oil water separator, delete the egr, and what do you guys think about plugging the lower intake?

Speaking of deleting the egr...

Ibd still owes me some timing cover bolts and an egr delete...

Well if you can keep that open, it will help in case you do somehow get il down there but if you have the oil separator then in theory you should be able to plug it. If you ever need to work on that plug or think you want to hook it up you will have to pull the intake off again. There is no room to get to it once installed.
