Anyone have any experience with this tuner (edge), what kind of gains did you see. I have a 97 f150 with a 4.6

 

I have the edge evolution on my 98 4.6. I love mine, I mean you won't see a huge difference like you will on a diesel, but you will notice a difference in throttle response, mileage, and in just flat out quickness, mine will get up and scoot now, I have the gotts mod and exhaust also.

 

What mods do you have, and I have a cold air intake so would I need custome tunes?

 

Its the GOTTS Mod, and it's viewed as a type of cold air intake, and I didn't have to get a custom tune

 

Interesting never heard of a gotts

I have a '98 with the 4.6 and K&N CAI. I was about to do the exhaust, and I was told that that combo would result in a lean mix (which mine is tending to already). Did the Edge compensate for that? Or did this require custom programming? Just wondering what's out there, as a pre-built downloadable profile. I just ordered mine (Evolution) in preparation for other mods...
