i just got my edge evo the other day and i was just wondering, how accurate is the instant mpg display and the average mpg display? the reason why i ask is because before i got the tuner i figured i was getting about 10-11 mpg in town (250 miles on a 25 gallon tank) and about 15-16 on the freeway (about 350-400 miles on a tank.)

i installed my edge evo the other day. when set at stock, the instant mpg said i was getting about 10 in town and when on the freeway it said about 15 (both numbers were +or- a few tenths.) when set on the townig setting it said about 13 in town and between 18 and 19 (sometimes hitting 20) on the freeway set at 60 mph.

i havent had any trips that are more than a couple of miles so i dont know what it will say in the long run but if i am in fact getting what it says i am, i will be very impressed.

 

lol i hope mine is lying haha cos i dont think i gained much mpg wise anyway could just be because i cant keep off the throtle lol!

 

yeah im the same way. i noticed more power as well as the (possible) mpg gains
