Therefore, Iridiums are going in.

Motorcraft platinums, cheap and work! My OEM plugs went 100K and were still fine! I just changed out NGK's after 20k miles for a misfire and they were worn!

Then your truck runs extremely lean or you just use ****ty fuel. NGK's are cheaper than motorcrafts. The NGK's IX Iridiums that I just replaced in my 03 had 105k miles on them and the overall gap from the plugs was .061". The gap when installed was .054". Motorcrafts get around .080-.90" @ 100k.

What do you guys think about NGK G-Power Platinum? Heard they are O.E. equivalent.

A Ford tech at the dealership here told me NGK Platinums are recommended in these modular engines and not to pay the extra dollar for iridiums as the difference wont be apparent unless there's significant performance upgrades added to it.

NGK G-Power Platinums are in and no more Spark knock/detonation. Way more power under load.

I guess E3's aren't what they're all cut out to be.

That Ford tech needs some more schooling lol. Seriously, Iridium's are the better all around plug. They perform at the top longer and won't wear or spread the gap, like well, what you got. It's the better of precious metals in these combustion engines. All you have to do is research..just a little. Those are okay, what you got, but you could have done much better.

No NGK G-Power are single platimnum. The will show significant amount of electrode erosion in 25k miles
