Default Driver Seat Needs Replacement

OK, had someone that was really heavy as the previous owner. I have a 2001 F150 Crew Cab 4x4 XLT. It has the bench seat 40/60, and the center and passenger side are fine. The Driver side seat is flat, and almost collapsed on the outside of the seat. Upholstery is fine. Can I get a seat out of any 97-03 F150, or can I go outside that range and have it bolt in? Will seats out of the F250 also work? Seats are not powered, but could I put in powered seats, do they use the same rails? Didn't think this would bother me much when i bought it, but I am tired of leaning while driving.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I also had a fat previous owner or someone who just slid out if the seat. when I sit straight in the truck my leaning is really noticeable and I hate it, does anyone know how I can fix this? or am I stuck with buying a new seat? any ideas where to get one from?

as for the O/P I don't see why you couldn't get the same style seat out of another truck and use it. you can use a 04+ but you will have to do some modding to make it work, as for the F250 I have not idea as long as the bolts match up I don't see why it wouldn't fit. the powers seats from the same year should fit, and look up on here because i read a thread about how to make your own power seat from the kicker panel on the passenger side. they ran some wires from there to a harness an hooked the harness to the new power seats they got.

Found a couple at a local wrecking yard, going to go look. But in their listing for a 2001, you have to know if your truck is made before 10/23/00 or after 10/24/00... strange. Otherwise I have searched the internet and could not find just the molded cushion to replace. I found this wrecking yard by going to car-parts.com and doing a search on the part. Good luck finding a replacement for yours.

Junk yard was a bust, got there and they said they didn't have any after telling me they had 3. Can't believe there is not a place that sells the pre-formed padding for all kinds of trucks and cars. If anyone finds some place, please let us all know. I'm still searching.
