at the start of the summer last year my window got stuck down for half the day than with some hope and a pray I got it to go up and thats where it has stayed for the last 5 or 6 months wont move down but I noticed that when I hit the down on my switch at night I can notice my head light dim for a second don't know how to fix it anyone got any ideas of things I can try?

You need a new window motor (easy to change just google it) and as for the lights dimming, my 98 does it and my 97 did it, it's just the sudden surge of power from the window motor trying to actuate, nothing to worry about

 

its been in the low teens and single digits the last few days and i thought just for kicks and giggles id try and see if my window would work and it went down but as it warms up it will not work anymore? any ideas?

 

You need a Window motor. The bushings in the motor is gone when he gets cold they Swell when I get hot they Shrink Losing contact with the motor
