Default JVC KW-NT3HDT Double DIN

Here's a pic of a double DIN JVC nav unit installed with a Metra 95-5818 installation kit. As others have noted, it takes a little cutting on the bezel and the plastic behind it. But take it slow and easy and test fit the unit repeatedly and you should be ok. But if you go whacking at the plastic and get in a hurry, I suspect that you'll have a mess on your hands.

I have the same Edge Evolution setup as the guy who uploaded the pic. [Sorry, but I never took a photo of it.] It comes with a pod specially designed to fit the contours of the dash and adheres with double stick tape. I painted mine to (practically) match the dash, so it looks like it was part of the original package.

Hope that helps!

I installed the Pioneer avic-x930bt this morning and love it. The install really wasn't that bad. Got everything I needed at best buy. Once I finished the wiring harness, install only took about 30 minutes. The only thing I didn't tackle was the reverse wire and the speed sensor wire. Also did the bypass so that the unit is fully functional while in motion. I haven't got to fully test the accuracy of the gps but overall this unit is great. Its also pretty simple to operate.
