In collier county / Naples FL, we have F-150s, Explorers, Expeditions, and Super duties (mostly used for Everglades area duputies) all of them are 4x4 and explorers are unmarked. Florida Fish and Wildlife rocks 4x4 f-150s on 35s usually.

sounds like a good use of tax payer dollars .. spend their money to buy flashy trucks, that arnt even used to protect or serve anyone, to recruit more cops to write more tickets and buy more trucks.

Not sure about Carroll county but temple the small town I live in has probably a 2000 or so f150 and a expedition but we only have about 6 police cars in all soo not too many to choose from lol

The Florida department of business and professional regulation's division of alcoholic beverages and tobacco (or ABT for short) has 5 2012 f150s in our shop right now being fully outfitted with lights, sirens, radios, etc. These are all unmarked of course. Other agencies that use f150s around here are US fish and wildlife service and us forestry. FWC has quite a few too.

My Dept has a 2011 F150 Crew Cab short box, mostly used as a supervisor's vehicle, but I must say that its probably the best looking marked unit we have. Moved away from sedans (eg crown vic, taurus, etc) and have transitioned to explorers, expeditions, a couple of f-150s and a few f-250s (Although I must say I miss the crown I used to drive, such a comfortable car) all used for different tasks but all us regular guys get explorers for everyday use, but I'm sure once the F150 gets a lil older management will get a new rig and the f150 will get passed down to us, I'm prayin' anyway :-)
