Door sill protectors?

I think I saw them in the LMC truck catalog. I went to the hardware store a bought 3M no slip tape. It looks like black sand paper. You see it used alot on running boards and things like skateboards. It looks great and if you didn't have a F-150 you would think it was factory. I have mine on for 2 years and it hasn't come up and most of all I havn't scratched my paint or slipped on the sill with wet boots.
