Default Door shell swap

How difficult will it be to swap all four doors from a crank window XL to a power window XLT?
I have never removed and reinstalled doors on a modern vehicle so I didn't know how difficult re-alignment is. I need to swap the entire power assembly guts into the new door as well. Also, I will have to swap windows.

Is something that can be done by a "novice" or should this be better left to a body shop

I am in the process of attempting a similar feat. I have a 97 XL Standard Cab with cranks. I am sitting here looking at the wiring diagrams right now, and it appears at first glance that the GEM's would have to be changed as well. Not sure how many of them there are, but it doesn't look like it is as simple as swapping doors. I am tracing wires/colors on the factory wiring diagrams and think I am going to swap out the regulators and door panels and run the wires/relays myself.

If you get more info or you want to diagrams I have, let me know.

Its quite easy. But the doors them selves are heavy. Should be 2 bolts. Bur have to remove the fenders first.
