Default door lock linkage diagram

My door locks were punched before I got the truck.
I pulled the door apart and the lock cylinder was in the bottom of the door and the key still worked. I got it reinstalled in the door handle, but the link from the lock cylinder to the door latch had fallen to the bottom of the door. I know how it attaches to the key lock part, but cant figure out how it connects on the bottom to the latch. I thought I had it, but it was not working right.
It connects to a part that has 2 holes, one in the top and one in the side. Not sure if it uses both holes or just 1 (and if 1, which one?).

Anyone have a detailed diagram (or pic) of how the rods attach at the latch on the drivers side door? I have found a few parts diagrams that show the parts, but not exactly how it fits in there.

And I can't look at the other door, both sides were punched and the pass side is the same (except the lock cylinder is broken and the key does not work).

Well, never could find I diagram, so I just went out and messed with it till I got it.
I found out the problem was the rod I was using was bent, so it would never work no matter what the way it was. I had the pass side rod out and compared it to that and realized it was bent in the wrong place. Once I got it straightened out, it was pretty easy.

I made a quick video of how it hooks up. The vid was shot from through the removed outside door handle (had it out to fix the lock). You can do it from inside, just the camera view was better from where I did it.

I know it's been awhile, but you have any pictures to share of the parts and what you did to them?

Only thing I have is the video. I had all the parts from inside the door, and I just compared the sides to see that the drivers side was bent.

Are you trying to get yours back together? Do you have all the parts?

Both sides aren't working, linkage from the handle to the lock and the stud that pops up works. I can hear the actuator moving just not unlocking or locking, so I'm assuming the linkage linking the actuator to the system is broken. Not sure if there's a plastic piece or a bent rod.

I haven't taken the door panels off yet to look. Wondering what it's supposed to look like as both sides are broken I have nothing to compare to. Looking at pulling the panels tomorrow while I wait for the engine to cool to do a thermostat swap and throttle body cleaning.

So just the electric part is not activating? Does the key unlock the door?

Keys work, door handles work, manually working the lock studs work.

The actuator makes noise but does not lock or unlock the door.

The remote even triggers the actuators, but the actuators aren't locking or unlocking the doors.

Sounds like the actuators are bad then. They are trying to move and are making a noise, but not enough "oomph" to actually move the locks.

There could be a broken linkage, but in both doors? Not likely.
Definitely need to take the door panels off to check.

Well the sound like they have umph you can feel it too when ya hit the switch.

If I remember right, my and my siblings broke them when we were younger by playing with the power locks as kids.
