Question Door ajar beep and interior lights going on

I have a 97 F150. For sometime now my Door Ajar light comes on and the beeping sound when the lights are left on or key in ignition sounds too. This happens when and when not driving the truck. I have taken the interior light bulbs out because it kept killing my battery. I was thinking of taking the fuse out so this would not keep lighting up and sounding, but don't know which one it is. I have the fuse diagrams, but thinking it may not be my best option. 1 cause the fuse may be linked to something other than my issue. 2 it should just get fixed.

Anyone have this issue and what was the reason for this?

I will check it out. I guess that means taking the door panel off huh? Great and its getting cold out there. Once I get inside, what does it look like and where would it be located? Is it an easy fix?

Open your door and look where the catch mechanism is and that is where it's located inside the door. I have never changed one so I don't know how hard it is to change. I have seen some people suggest spray it with WD-40 will help.

Yeah just spry it with some kind of lubricant. Do both doors.
