I think I all ready know the answer from watching videos. But just wondering if anyone has saved the tow hooks when installing a brush guard.

From watching videos it also looks like you will rip the brush guard off the truck if you use it as an attachment point. You guys come up with any work arounds to keep a tow hook.

Pics would be great.

Have my tow hooks and my brush guard... have used my tow hooks and brush guard... haven't ripped either out.

Pushed my 74 f250 many of times with my 03 (currently working on engine so it doesn't run. I get it around with the 03 and brushguard.

Have pulled a couple buddies out of mud with tow hooks and a couple stuck tractors

I'll try to get some pics in a little bit. If by bug shield you mean the plastic that attaches to the hood? I don't see why you couldn't. Brush guard doesn't interfere with anything up there. I'll take a few pics of the brushguard too, not just the mounting points

Here are the pics *dont mind the brush guard not being bolted on all 4 holes of the bracket. It's that way because of my body lift. I know it's weaker and I could fix it but so far I've not had any issues. So if you don't have a BL then you'll be good, and if you do, then you'll just need to have the bracket fabbed up 3". You can also see where you shouldn't have any issues with a bug shield.

Also don't mind the ugly bumper, was going to take the plastidip off so I told my younger sister and her friend they could start peeling... then I never got around to it lol.

Thanks for the pics.

I went and pulled it off the parts truck. I got most of the parts but had to leave some because I didn't have the right tools with me. I had to leave the upper mounting brackets. I've looked at lots of guard on line and I don't see these.

It's a Go Rhino step model. It's modular. Which I have to assume is not as good?

But I never really like the headlight covers. Looks like I can just turn it in to a push bar type thing. Lots of options.

You can't see it in my pictures but I have the upper mounting tabs too. Helps keep vibrations down on the guard itself. On mine (not sure on the gorhino) I can take the covers off.

Here are some pics (from another project) you can see the headlight cover comes off. Also I circled in blue but you can see the shadows of the upper mounting tabs... you definitely want to have those.

Again, thanks for the pics.

Ya. I thought this guard was cheesy feeling. As it turns out the upper tabs were not bolted on. The bolts were through the hole but no nuts.

I wonder if I could put a winch tray in there,,, and have it hold,,,lol.

I didn't get to keep the tow hooks. They're too big.

I wonder if ones off another vehicle would be smaller?
