Default Disappearing Odo Question

Hey guys,

I know the disappearing odometer problem has been discussed on here before, but I have a question about it.

I am not very.. able.. when it comes to car-related repairs, so I'm not super concerned with fixing the issue. BUT, does the odometer still count even when it's not showing up?

I swear I saw my odometer go over 167K, but looked down earlier to see that it was in the 166K range. Weird.. I don't know.. But yeah, I just need to know if it still counts mileage when it is NOT showing up.

Thanks ahead of time fellas.

Yes it does. Just hit the plastic screen and it usually comes back on.

Or you could actually fix it.

It does still add up the miles even when it's not showing. But seriously the skill level to fix this is like a 1

Well from the looks of the process, I really don't even want to mess with it. I don't care how many miles are on the truck. Just wanted to know if it was trustworthy when it does pop up, so I would know when to get the oil changed and tires rotated.

Maybe one day.. Got some other things coming that are ahead of that.. like some black lightning headlights, black RBP locking fuel door, and painting the grill.
